Haerin Kang-Yang lived a life most people would envy-beautiful home, stable career, a husband who respected every boundary she had, and an adopted daughter she cherished more than anything. For eight years, she believed her life was steady and untouchable, protected by the gentle routine she built with Jungwon, her patient and loving husband. But everything in Haerin's carefully structured world shifted the night Danielle-her daughter's strikingly handsome, androgynous teacher-carried Hyein home after group study. With Jungwon away for a year on an overseas business contract, Haerin felt the deep ache of loneliness she never admitted aloud. After drinking more than she should, her blurred vision mistook Danielle's tall figure and soft voice for her husband returning unexpectedly. In her drunken confusion, she pulled Danielle toward her... and the line she had never crossed, not even with her own husband, vanished in one devastating mistake. She awoke the next morning horrified-Danielle, fully clothed, lying beside her. Nothing physical happened, yet the shame flooded her. She couldn't understand how she had fallen asleep on someone she refused to let even her husband touch for years. Danielle, unbothered and oddly amused, kept the secret. But Haerin found herself spiraling-haunted by guilt, confused by feelings she never expected, and terrified of ruining the perfect life Jungwon had always protected. Worse, Danielle-who loved challenges more than anything-seemed to develop a dangerous fascination with her. And for the first time, Haerin had something to lose.

haerin can "see" the future and tells danielle about her feelings for her, but its too late as she looses some of her memory to a basketball game and danielle has to try and win her heart again.. not until a certain someone joins the school, how will danielle survive against that certain someone..
