Ash can talk to plants, but not people. Mimosa Pudica Hayes comes from a wealthy family and is named after a very special plant. They have two things in common: they are both named after plants, and they are both going to O'Malloy's School for the Horticulturally Advanced, a 500 year old school surrounded by an ancient forest. While struggling to keep her grades up, Mimosa discovers that there may be more than meets the eye to O'Malloy's.
