Tim and Lucy get a chance to resume the conversation about their relationship they were trying to have when she fell asleep in her apartment the previous day, but since they talk on the shipping docks right before a dangerous operation, they don't have much time between a cathartic conversation and a firefight that results in Lucy being mortally wounded and drowning. Hopefully, Tim can get to her in time.

The Hidden Tree Village is filled with Slayers and is the home base to the Slayer Organization. The village is hidden to hide away from the World Government because the village holds information that is forbidden. The forbidden information the village holds is the Void Century. The Slayers were sent to the Element Nations to learn more about the connection between a figure from the Elemental Nations and the Void Century. Kind of (In later books they would be much more prominent and obvious, but in this one Naruto and One Piece is the most obvious)

Natsuo tightly grips Touya's hand, yanking him back. Even being five years younger than Touya, he still has more than enough strength to stop his older brother in his tracks. He has a faint memory of his mother and her friend taking him to those plays with the creepy life sized dolls. Those dolls remind Inosuke of the stranger in front of him and he can't help but to cackle as he points a finger at the man. "Your new name is now Bunraku!" - In which a young boy befriends a man cursed to be a doll. *** A Demon Slayer/Dororo crossover.

"Marry me." Gojou hoarsely whispers, pleading with him. Suguru's eyes widen as he's overcome with shock and confusion. Suguru had been expecting a lot of things for Gojou to say but he had never thought that a marriage proposal would be it. In the back of his mind, he idly wonders if this is some sort of sick game that Gojou is playing. Since everything is falling to pieces, maybe Gojou just has to have one final laugh. Suguru had always thought that he was subtle about his affections towards Gojou but perhaps Gojou had known all along. Suguru opens his mouth to say no. He doesn't see the point in marrying Gojou. He wants to lash out and tell Gojou that he's already lost and his only available path is a twisted and dark road full of pain and regret. He means to refuse the offer and to tell Gojou to leave and never try to find him but those words die on his tongue when he sees the absolute desperation and panic in Gojou's eyes. "Okay." He whispers.

"It hits her as the last few notes drift up to the stars, Lucina's voice beginning to rasp and crack with grief and fatigue, and Severa thinks it's the most beautiful and most sad sound in the world. 'I would do anything for her,' she realizes. And it's not a shock, like she thinks it will be. She accepts it with ease, as if she always knew. As if doing anything for Lucina is what she is made for. And then, she thinks, maybe it is."
