He doesn't have any friends and, except his older brothers Belarus and Ukraine. But they're both in their own friend groups, barely talking to him in school, so he's all alone. 𝐂anada is the new kid in school. He has trouble finding new friends, one of those weird, extroverted kids who are nice to everyone. But a quiet, introverted boy who shows him around school turns out to be more than a friend.

There's way too many RusAme books, and not enough of any other ships. Let's get into what it's about, shall we? The ship used will be RusCan (Russia X Canada). I've hardly ever seen this ship used, and in general, I think it's quite adorable. They don't have bad blood unlike Russia and America (cough cough, Cold War) so it's a bit more realistic. Anywho, Russia is known to be cold, harsh, and unloving. He hardly even cares about his own siblings. He considers himself straight, and is highly homophobic. Until someone makes him second guess himself... Canada is sweet, caring, and loving of everyone, even those that other countries find unlovable. This adorable pansexual has never been in a relationship with anyone, actually. Until he meets a certain someone...

(Headcanons, AU and ship dynamic in the intro + bilingual fic go weeeee) Canada and Russia were on opposite sides in war. NATO's purpose is to take down the Soviets, vice versa for the U.S.S.R and his children. Though, one of the head NATO members.... saw something beyond the socialism in one of the Soviets' eyes... that something being years of pent-up aggression towards their father and the urge to let it out. The Cold War breaks out and the rest of NATO is put to the side while The USA and USSR almost end each other for good. USA was about to throw the oldest soviet son into oblivion. When the gun clicked and the Socialist yelped in fear, footsteps loudened and the gun hit the ground. "DON'T HURT HIM!"

So, Canada is making a treacherous journey throughout his life- the type where you try to find the 'true one'. Basically, he's lonely and he's looking for another person to accompany him. On Russia's hands, though.. Are obviously blood. He's seeped into a chaotic, havoc wreaking life of most likely criminal behavior out of pure desperation to get his sad, miserable, life to get somewhere of at least minor importance.
