"Look into the river, Angel. What do you see?" In the wild plains of Idaho horses are set free into the wild, but there is a white mare who doesn't seem to fit right in with her family and a bunch of other wild horses in the herd. Angel claims that she doesn't want to be part of the band and she runs off into the wilderness alone. She wants to build her own herd and family, but does she have the confidence to do so?

When you become a warrior, your strength will be visible to the weak. Every night after the full moon find your brothers and sisters, and what the moon will buy you Five clans, five cats... or maybe not quite? All clans that have been living for centuries, grappling with everyday life. Within a few moons, however, litters of kits were born in each Clan. All clan members don't know this, but one kit from each clan has been chosen for a mission by claws seeking revenge. You were supposed to get younger and spread your ambitions around. Their dream was to win above all else, and those who disobeyed them would face unexplained death.
