A hero once stalked the streets of Bohemia City. Tommy Thornton gave his body, his looks and his future to a nation at war and then they abandoned him when they realised they had created a monster, not the super-soldier they could use as the rallying cry for the nation. Taking the name 'Gang Smasher', Tommy returned to his home town, and the deprived area of Hatchet Row to fight the ever-burgeoning gangs that had turned the district into a pit of despair, depravity and squalor, fighting the good fight without any praise or acknowledgement until the world's greatest super-team, Bastion, came calling. Then, after Tommy kills a vile, murderous super-villain, they, too, abandon him. Shunned, held to a promise never to play the hero again, Tommy diminishes until he comes to the aid of a young BCPD cop, Barbara Montoya, daughter of an old friend. In the aftermath, she persuades him to take up his old mantle to fight a new kind of gang. Gangs using deadly, temporary supers with ties to Gang Smasher's dark, distant past. Along with Regan, a polymath ex-lover of Montoya, the three of them chase down the architect of chaos bringing ruin to the Row, but it may cost all of them more than their lives. They could pay with their humanity.

Nam Sutcac, Defender of Justice. His secret weapon is cactus, that's why his true name was disguised. His friend and partner in justice is Steve Degeneres, but what happens when his best friend reveals themself to be Meneral Gills, Oatmeal enthusiast and cripplingly terrifying villan? Sutcac is a self- proclaimed hero, only he is accidently a villan. Now he must defend Pearis.

Grayson Gordon is a 16 year old junior at Cincinnati High School. But as you may have guessed from the title of this book, he won't be a normal high schooler. Grayson is the school's nothing. He's a nerd like Peter Parker was. He's just looking for something to make people notice him, that doesn't have to do with constant tormenting and bullying. One of his frequent bullies, Max Bennet, pushes him into a spider pit as a joke. And then Grayson gets bit. ((name alliteration: Grayson Gordon like Peter Parker))

From a reluctant superhealer to a villain whose explosions send targets to another world, Signs of the Apocalypse is an anthology series revolving around superpowered individuals and their struggles and experiences as they try to either cope - or fail to - with their abilities. Series will be mostly unrelated, meaning that upload dates will be whenever I decide to write a short story. So, just check out whatever story title you find interesting. I made a watt pad account for my brother because he is amazing at writing and he was disappointed for losing a writing completion, se even cried. What a sook. I want him to realise he's a brilliant writer. It would mean the world to him if someone read this book and shared it. I haven't told him yet so I want to surprise him but I need people to read this book for that. He usually send me his stories through gmail.

What if Superman and Captain America had been made at each other's companies, thus developing much differently in their new canons? This (potential) series of stories seeks to answer the question for the former. OK: So, I confess that this one requires the most chance and luck to pull off, not to mention three slightly forceful flaps from a Queen Alexandra's Birdwing. 1: Martin Goodman has to establish Timely Comics a year earlier than in our Timeline. 2:Most of the same artists and writers, Stan Lee Included, have to become a part of the company as well as Siegel and Shuster. 3: Joe Shuster's eye disease has to be treated due to a potentially better deal with Timely, so that both he and Jerry can become part of the Marvel bullpen full-time, with him designing all of Marvel's most iconic characters in Jack Kirby's place. (Excluding Spider-Man, of course.) But let's be honest. Stranger things have and will happen(ed). Thanks for reading.

One things for sure: Rowan may be a damsel She may be in distress But she doesn't need anyone else to do the saving. She does it herself.

Nova was never really fond of superheroes. From their capes to the idea that a woman could serve as little more than a device to further the endless conflict of good and evil, you have to admit she's got a solid argument. It's a bit ironic that she doesn't like them because they seem to love her. After a chance encounter leads her into the arms of the hottest hero around, Spitfire, Nova is thrust into a world of capes and crusaders that just can't seem to let her be. Cover by @Sinadana

I was just in a fight with my best friend, when it happened. Why it chose me, I don't know. Why they took me, can't say. What am I going to do, unclear. No one even knows I'm alive, so how do you stay in a normal teenage life, without revealing your real identity? Use A Super Lie.

I think everyone Wants a hero Because heroes makes you feel safe. Heroes appear, when you need them the most, the definition of perfect, strong and beautiful (not really because they always wear a mask), the flying princes, always charming and good at everything, everyone admires them. It's a common thing here in Blackapples to see someone in a suit flying in the sky. But there is the little group of people (not villains included) that see the heroes, just like normal people that protect the city, Me included. In Quaestio living a "normal life" isn't that easy, with villains attacking the whole city, you always have to carry a pepper spray in your bag. A girl, in a city full of superheroes, not really impressed by their force or super abilities . So when the new sensation of a hero presents himself to her, she can't help trying to take off his mask. After all she follows just one rule: Non heroibus

~~~~Winner of the Marvel/DC crossover~~~~ Marvel and DC superheroes now exist in real life, but they've diminished crime so much that they fight each other over the simplest of tasks. Tim Drake, aka Red Robin, records this experience first-hand and gives an excellent account of his encounter with another side-kick over something non-existent.
