Caplin Stories

Ashley Reynolds is a girl of sweetness and serenity. There's so much she wants to be and do in her life. Unfortunately, this sweet and innocent girl is a victim of abuse with a father that always owes someone something or the other. Eventually, her father gets trapped in his loans and gives up the only thing he has left.....her. Ashley gets traded into the Caplin family but before her father sends her away, he does one very significant thing. He tells the Caplins that she's mute. Since she's terrified of defying her father, she plays the part and forces herself not to speak. But what she doesn't know is that silence is something more than just an act. It lets you learn about things you'd never expect. Ashley finds a secret with the Caplins that she never would've expected. What will happen when she realizes it resides with Danny Caplin, the boy she's developed strong feelings for.
