When Agent 8 woke up from a coma, she couldn't remember anything about her past life. She escapes an evil telephone and saves Inkopolis from becoming sanitized forever, but does it all in secret. Agent 8 is just trying to fit in with the inklings after saving them from extinction in a secret group who helps defend the world from evil. This group is called the Squidbeak Splatoon, Agent 8 being the newest member after escaping the darkness of the Deepsea Metro. Despite saving the world, her race has been recognized as enemies by all the inklings after the great turf war, making it hard for her to fit in. Luckily, her 2 best pals, Agent 3 and Agent 4, are there to help her fit in and catch up on all that she has missed in her time at the metro. As Eight journeys with them she hopes to recall memories of her past life and remember what she had forgotten when she fell into the metro. She hopes that by recovering these memories, she will be able to change herself for the better and learn from her past experiences under the octarian empire. As they explore their world together, 8 meets new people and visits places she never knew existed. However, danger lies on their path (surprise). Many people are out to get 8 and her friends, causing destruction all around her. Read this tale of an agent who experiences some of the most exciting yet unimaginable experiences, while racing to recover her memory before time runs out.

Here is just a mix of Squidbeak stories that I have posted on my AO3. You'll get disaster agents, agent 24, and the general nonsense the entire Squidbeak Splatoon gets into on a regular basis.

Inkopolis, the city of color, home of inklings is about to celebrate it's most long honored traditions, the Splatfest. Unfortunately there has been a strange power outage about a week before Splatfest. Nobody cares and think the Splatfest will continue anyway but not a particular inkling named Reo. He was approached by an old Cuttlefish name Cap'n Cuttlefish who claims to know who is behind the power outage. Reo has agreed to help him save the zapfish that powered the city. Reo expects to help him and leave but once he learned to make a commitment as an Agent of the Squidbeak splatoon, the longer he wishes to stay and protect his home.

After the relation Inklings and Octolings had been restored. Most of the Octolings were start moving to Inkopolis city from the underground to live with their cousins. But there is one who was trapped in somewhere unknown in the underground, struggling to escape to the surface and searching for the light that he wanted for..

When you're as old as Cap'n, you tend to reflect on a lot of things from your youth... Espically when your crush from your teenaged years is now your enemy. **cross posted from ao3**

Imagine a red sunset, yellow clouds and seagulls that fly over the quiet, already soothing evening sea. Two boys sit on the boat pier, dipping their legs in the water. -Do you want to swim? asked a boy named Craig CuttleFish. - Get out? - A boy by the name of Octavio asked a question. CuttleFish nodded, took off his jacket and bounced off the pier straight into the water. -Will you go with me? Water isn't cold.- said CuttleFish, chattering his teeth against the cold. "No ..." Octavio replied coldly. After a couple of minutes, Craig broke down and said: -Give me your hand. -What for? - asked Octavio. "Well, it must be so .." Craig said quickly. Octavio extended his hand to him, stooping. CuttleFish clutched at his hand with a dead grip, Craig dragged him into the water. Octavio flopped there with his head, quickly moved, because he could not swim and hugged the pole that was propping the pier with both hands. -What are you doing?! - he was scared. Craig blushed. - You ... Why? - asked Octavio. CuttleFish laughed out loud in response. -Do you not know how to swim? - Almost dying from a tear, he asked. "N-no ... Why did you drag me here?" I wet the clothes! How will I go home? What will I say to the servant? "pissed along the way"? Hahahahahaha! - of course, it was a joke. CuttleFish giggled sweetly. -You understand ... Sea ... You .. Love .. - stretching the words said inkling. -I understand ... - answered octoling.

Sitting inside a snowglobe for days on end leave a lot of room for self reflection... Thinking about your past, and how things turned the way they did. On top of that, a new evil threatens to take over Inkopolis and is hunting down all the agents. Could it be DJ Octavio? Has Commander Tartar returned? Or is it a new evil?
