All of the test subjects had died; All but her. This left HYDRA with an impulsive 13-year-old to turn into the assassin of the future. When the chance to escape HYDRA present's itself, Subject E5-09 takes it. Thought she had always waited for this day, Subject E5-09 never thought she would draw that much attention. Now, SHIELD wants her, the Avengers are looking for her, and HYDRA's waiting around every corner. ---- I only own the main character, Subject E5-09, originally named Chloe, aka the Sapphire Spirit. The plot line mainly goes to Stan Lee and Anthony and Joe Russo, the directors of Captain America: Civil War, during which this story takes place. All other existing characters and backstories are credit to Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, and many others. ---- This story takes place right after Age of Ultron, which was in 2015. Right after, Subject E9-05 gets out, and the following year, Civil War happens. Just thought I'd say that.

Steve Rogers, Bucky Barnes, and Sam Wilson continue the search for Armani - Steve's sister and Bucky's lover - after the events of the previous year, the government takes charge and releases the Sokovia accords, saying the Avengers will no longer be a private organization. With government forces after her, Steve, Bucky, and Sam find Armani's apartment in Romania, helping her escape and becoming criminals themselves. They are then arrested and taken to a building in Berlin, where their stuff is locked away and Armani is psychologically evaluated by Steve's love interest, who activates the winter soldier, setting her against the whole team, fighting her way out of the building and up to a helicopter where she tries to escape. The Avengers then fight against each other, Steve, Bucky, and Armani manage to get on the Quinjet and head to Siberia where Armani was kept, finding Steve's love interest there, she shows them a tape from December 16th, 1991, Tony finds out she murdered his parents and he fights against Steve, Bucky, and Armani. T'challa talks to the two women outside the base, having followed the three in the Quinjet. Steve, Bucky, and Armani travel to Wakanda where she gets frozen again in a cryostasis chamber where she will stay until they can get the trigger words out of her head.

Ashanti is a citizen of the Kingdom of Wakanda. She is a Wakandan spy and a former member of the Dora Milaje. Unlike most of Wakanda...she's powered...just like King T'Chaka's son; T'Challa. Powered to a certain extent. She couldn't move things with her mind but she was better than everyone else. She was deployed to America as the first powered Wakandan spy. Courtesy of King T'Chaka who gave her the heart-shaped herb that gave her the powers of the Black Panther. Of course, that mantle was reserved for T'Challa. She had to take another alias. She was always drawn to Leopards over the Panther. Maybe it had something to do with camoflauge. Given how she was a spy...it only made sense. She was in the midst of tracking down two international assassins and terrorists that brought the downfall of S.H.I.E.L.D. The world's leading organization when it comes to spying on everyone. Her job is made easier when the two assassins were spotted near the United Nations during a terrorist attack on the Sokovia Accords. That is...until she finds that she isn't the only person that's hunting them down. A certain man in a black Vibranium cat suit was after them...for revenge. She couldn't allow them to live but she also couldn't allow them to die at her hands...she had to let them die at the hands of the son of the father they had killed. Rose and Steve are now in modern times (2016) having issues with their superpowered roommates (The Avengers) and trying to get their PTSD ridden third member of the trio (Bucky) to remember that he cares about them.
