Her philophobia renders her emotional suppression to increase ten-fold, and results in her nightmares worsening every. Single. Night. Side-effects, of course, of having the ability to manipulate fire. A secret that is hushed, naturally, often has trouble remaining unknown. Not only that, but Y/N believes her entire existence only produces pain and loss, separating her from those she loved. She fears endearment enough to a point where she hates existence itself. That is why she participates in risky, life-threatening professions, such as being a field agent for the SSR, and being a Special Operations Executive during WW2. That's where she met 2 men that changed her life. James Buchanan Barnes, and, undoubtedly, Steven Grant Rogers. What happens when she finally gives in to closure? She is sent to S.H.I.E.L.D. where they plan to turn her into a military weapon. But after digging deeper, they discover that there is so much more to this Enchantress than she says.
