An idea for a new story

Having succeeded in killing the bat Joker and Harley has taken over Gotham city. They're unstoppable. They kill without thought and without questions asked. The squad now works for them and won't let anyone get close to them unless permitted. The Avengers have been monitoring Gotham for a while now. The city a few miles south of their backyard has had a crime spike of outstanding proportions. Gotham has to be straightened out.
