You heard that right, this is a rewrite of Marvel's "WHAT IF...?" The reason I decided to do it is because I didn't like the execution- almost as fast-paced as the other episodes, and some plotholes such as "why didn't the Watcher help the team throughout the battle against Ultron?" Hopefully, I don't mess up anything important. :D "What if..?" and its properties (heroes, villains, background, etc.) all belong to Marvel because of copyright. This is just a what if. What if...the finale was written differently?

I started writing this fic on this alternate account, but I am now going to continue it on my main. If you see an exact duplicate of this fic do not be alarmed, its still me. I thought I'd take a swing at what the second Captain America film would look like if Peggy took Steve's place. Obviously based on the intro to the ninth episode of what if, however two key differences will be that the watcher does not show up, and that the Hydra Stomper and Steve are not on board.
