Upon their arrival, they are met with harsh, frigid conditions and soon encounter King Frostan. However, the diplomatic efforts take a dangerous turn when King Frostan attempts to strike Pike but inadvertently hits Spock instead, heightening the tensions. In the midst of the chaos, they find an unexpected ally in Winterrose-a striking half-Glacian, half-human with distinctive blue features. Accompanied by her pet Gorn, Saru, she complicates the situation further. As Pike and his crew navigate the hazardous landscape of diplomacy, they must leverage their strengths to achieve their mission's goals while striving to bridge the gap between their worlds.

(Set in the Prime Timeline) Before she became the Captain of the USS Jupiter, Kristen Lee was a Commander. Two decades before she becomes Captain, Kristen's parents die on the USS Edison. As of the, a young Commander Christopher Pike has the task of raising an eight-year-old girl. A girl who just lost her parents and who happens to be his goddaughter. After finishing her time at the academy, Kristen leaves for the USS Jupiter. Two years later, she leaves for personal reasons. She heads for Pike's location in space, Enterprise. Upon arrival, she is met with open arms and a warm hug. But her life isn't all stars and galaxies. It's only begun for the 25-year-old Lieutenant Commander. All characters belong to Gene Roddenberry.
