Getting kidnapped by a lunatic saying he's a time traveler isn't always fun. Especially when he kidnaps your ex...ex crime partner that is...nothing else... At least that's what Karoline Jones would tell you if you asked about her and Leonard Snart. Karoline Jones is your average thief with telekinetic powers and a whole ton of emotional baggage. When she is chosen to help save the world, she's not super interested. But when she sees Snart is along for the ride, maybe it's time to think twice. Maybe it's time to see if Captain Cold can melt a heart of ice.

Finally we got there and the police officers were at a far away distance. "Thank you for your cooperation." Snart said softly in my ear. I growled at him as we continued to back up. It took me weeks to plan this bank robbery, and of course with my luck, some guy in a leather jacket had to mess it up. The stranger then had the audacity to tell me I was his future wife. That sure is a game changer isn't it? Lets see how this goes shall we. Samantha Peterson is the older sister to her younger brother Alex, and the younger sister to Amanda. After their parents died they had a rough childhood, in which Amanda had to care for Samantha and Alex. 10 years later, they moved to Central City to start over. Little did they know that this city would change their lives forever. After the partical accelerator exploded, they each got their own unique abilities. Samantha is telepathic, Alex can hack technology with his mind, and Amanda is quite literally a human torch. They became part of the Flash team ( later on to Legends of Tomorrow) to help save the city. But one encounter with Leonard Snart ( a.k.a. Captain Cold) changes Samantha's life forever. Since this is my story, Leonard is NOT dying in Legends of Tomorrow! I won't have it! That will be the only event I change based off of the tv show. I don't own any of the DC characters, just mine, their powers and story. Also, this is my first story, so don't judge me if it's bad. I appreciate feedback throughout the story. It's up to Leonard to protect his sister because there is no one else. But what happens when a trip to the bank turns into a heist? What happens when Leonard gets sent to juvie for helping his father? Who will protect Lisa while he's gone? Warning, this story may contain scenes of violence and verbal abuse

After Raina's brother blamed her for their parents disappearance she decided to hate all good guys. The police that worked their parents case dropped the troubled girl off at Natural Fire Juvenile Detention Center. While at NFJDC Raina became bestfriends with a pyromaniac named Mick Rory. Raina and Mick were more like siblings than she would ever be with Richard. At eighteen she was able to leave Natural Fire and opened a bakery called Toasted Icing. At Toasted Icing criminals and bad guys are welcomed but cops aren't.
