Emma has a lot to deal with. Between trying to find The Dark One, and dealing with angry citizens, she barley has time to address some of her personal issues. Hook almost died last week, and the memory keeps coming back, haunting her. When Hook is taken by a kidnapping meant for her, she does everything in her power to get him back before it is too late. This is my fan-fiction for the #justwriteit June challenge. It came a bit later than expected I know, but I am a professional procrastinator. 28 year old Emma Swan tells little, 8 year old Henry a bedtime story in order to get him to sleep. She speaks of sword fights, giants, pirates and beanstalks. She tells him of sacrifice, adventure, and love. Henry is thrilled, little does she know how perceptive her son really is. Because, "Mom... Is it really just a story?". Takes place mostly in TEF, when Emma and Mary- Margaret fall through Jefferson's hat. Only she meets Hook a little later on.
