However, after learning about Piqua's history with Hack-a-Ween and repeatedly failing to frighten Johnny, Elara takes matters too far, unleashing a supernatural haunting across Piqua and separating Erica's soul from her body. With Erica in danger and his belief that "scary equals funny" shattered, a genuinely terrified Johnny must once again become GizmoBot and learn what it truly means to be brave.
