While the Danger Force sped through Swellview fighting crime, Anya preferred the quiet hum of her lab, surrounded by bubbling beakers and glowing crystals. Homeschooled and fiercely independent, she'd spent most of her life buried in books and experiments-mixing science with a little something... darker. When her brother Schwoz finally pulled her out of her bubble, she wasn't sure if she was ready to face the chaos waiting for her outside.

While fighting Monarch to regain both the kwami and reformed Miraculous back during the final battle, Bug Noir gets dragged through a portal made by the supervillain. Upon exiting the portal, the two Miraculous holders find themselves in a world different from their own.

Henry Hart experiences both physical and emotional pain as he is injured in battle and has to continue is normal life.
