Capulet Stories

These are a series of essays on Romeo and Juliet that I have written and been scored for. They will be updated each week and are not being put on here to be copied, but for people to use my work as an inspiration for their own and to help them if they need ideas for what to write in an essay. All of these essay questions are at GCSE level.

What if Lord and Lady Capulet had arrived sooner and ran into the Capulet Tomb? What if Juliet had been stopped from joining Romeo in death? What if she ran away from home, took shelter in a haunted castle from the storm and realised a new fate? Along the way of the saddened heroine, she meets Mercutio the first ghost resident of the castle; together, the two bond over their differences as Juliet realises that Romeo and her weren't meant to be. ♡{7.11.2024-👻}♡

Benvolio Montague is a well known, handsome, peacekeeper of Verona. Unfortunately for many women of Verona, he has very few positive views of love. That is, until he meets Isabella. Isabella is new to Verona and tends to shy away from most men and keeps to herself. When she is invited to a Capulet party, she meets Benvolio and unexpectedly, something sparks between them. However, Isabella has also captured the eye of the hotheaded Tybalt. The details of what unfolds between these three will be covered in this book. (The only character I own is Isabella.)

In fair Verona there were two sisters who were the most beautiful of all Juliet and her older sister Sarine. How will the story play out now that Sarine is involved?

There were not only two lovers in this tragic tale. Few know the full story. While Romeo and Juliet were hopelessly in love, there were two others, who struggled to overcome the the barrier between these two families, so they could finally be together. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In a dark town, shadowed with gloom and sorrow, lived a young man, who brought light. He was to be married to the love of his life, the one thing that would bring him happiness. The wedding is to be on the 31st of July, a day of happiness and love. Although there is only one problem. Paris is in love with someone else. Someone who would never get his fathers blessing. Set in modern times.

Romeo and Juliet is a tragic love story about two young people from opposing families. The Montagues and the Capulets have been feuding for years, but Romeo Montague falls in love with Juliet Capulet at a party, and she returns his affections. The two secretly marry with the help of Friar Laurence, hoping their love will bring an end to the feud. However, a series of tragic events leads to their untimely deaths. Romeo kills Juliet's cousin Tybalt in a duel and is banished from Verona. Juliet's father forces her to marry another man, so she fakes her own death with the help of Friar Laurence's potion, but Romeo believes she is truly dead and takes his own life beside her. Juliet wakes up to find Romeo dead, so she takes her own life as well. This story is a timeless classic that has been retold through various adaptations, emphasizing the tragedy of young love and the consequences of deep-seated hatred.

This is just a little number I wrote for English class, but where else is it gonna go if not on Wattpad? I have to kick-start my writing career somehow (I'm kidding I want to be a lawyer). This is a short story about Rosaline's life while Romeo and Juliet were falling in love. It is loosely, LOOSELY based off Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet. I am aware that things are not in the right order in some places, I took creative liberty (i was so tired of rewriting the scenes) and i wanted to make it my own (seriously it is so much work to make things line up). There is suicide mentioned throughout the end of the story, so if that is something that bother you, this may not be the right thing for you to read. Anyways I hope you all enjoy it :) And please don't steal my work you guys, I spent actually so much time on this

But this isn't Verona, and this isn't the classic that everyone knows. No, this is a tale of blood and fire, justice and revenge, love and hate. On a dark night in the city of Cesa, House Capulet is burned and the members slaughtered. The sole survivor of this raid is the young daughter of Lord Capulet. Raised by a token force of rebels, the young woman sets out to reclaim her name and avenge her family. But many perils await the Daughter of Capulet in a city where her name is spoken as if poisoned.

descendants from the royal families. Donovan Capulet and Leela Montague were born with unique powers. Their paths cross and they soon fall in love. will it be just like Romeo and Juliet? Or will it end when one will die and one Family become royal across the lands.

Romeo is different. However, in Romeo's case, this difference is dangerous, and possibly deadly. He is the only son of the Lord Montague, and he is expected to uphold not only tradition, but the family name. After a bloody skirmish and heartfelt threat from the Prince of Verona, Lord Montague and Lord Capulet agree that the best way to end their warring is to become one as a family. Meaning Romeo is now promised to Juliet, the only heir of the Capulet household. . . . Mercutio has always been a dreamer, and yet the cousin of Prince Escalus has never believed in love. That is until he meets Romeo, one who believes in love as the Friar believes in God. The two grow to be fast friends and soon learn that there is more to life than heritage. How much are they willing to risk to not only defy their family and the law, but the way, it seems, everybody has lived for forever. **This does not follow the cannon story or even much of the plot of the original Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare. It does contain prominent gay content, if that upsets you, you do not have to read this. I will not be writing in the common 'Shakespearean style' of writing. All characters belong to the great William Shakespeare.

Perhaps vampires were myths from long ago. Perhaps they were not and their stories untold. Lily was not a Capulet, she was soon to be Montague. Love at first sight, the most naive love she had, for a cousin of Romeo whom lived not in Verona for quite some time. But her mind had been changed as her heart fluttered down a different path. Her sun-filled eyes gazed upon her lost love's enemy. Perhaps her love would become true? Will she wed the Capulet, or the Montague? But deathly pale flowers bloom in her heart, for her lovers body was human, as hers was not.

Benvolio Montague was always the calm, even minded person of Verona. But when his eyes start to drift to the fierce Tybalt Capulet things start to go a bit out of hand.

What if the story was never one of Romeo and Juliet? What if Romeo had a younger sister, around the same age as Juliet?

Tybalt and Mercutio. Tybalt Capulet and Mercutio Montague. What were the 2 supposed to do when they fell in love, their families hated eachother and most importantly they most certainly were not gay. But they were in love. They were in love with eachother. So what else were they supposed to do but push the other away and fight eachother at any given point. But then Romeo and Juliet happened. They were drawn back together. Their families had a tolerance for the other. They were in love. Tybalt Capulet and Mercutio Montague. Tybalt and Mercutio.
