Jude Duarte has been in exile for three months now. After taking up a new and dangerous job, Cardan begins to worry about her well being, and wants her to return to elfhame. He returns to the mortal world to try to convince Jude to come back to Elfhame.

Taking place a few weeks after the events of The Queen of Nothing, Cardan still has some doubts about his Queen. Or rather he doubts his Queens intentions. This is a fanfiction based off of Holly Blacks 'the folk of air' trilogy, 'the cruel prince'. I always wondered what would have happened if Cardan had gone to the mortal world after banishing Jude to beg her to come back so I wrote a story about what would happen if he did. Yes, she does come back pretty early on, but don't worry there's a lot of agnst, drama and plot twists! If your a Jurdan fan give my fanfiction a go because.. why not? I update at least once a week.
