Kendra is a young high school girl living with an overprotective mother, a blind sister, a kind step dad, and a stepbrother she loves dearly who is fighting cancer with every ounce of his body. She has been dancing since before she could walk and has her mind set on a career in dance. All her life Kendra has wanted to make something out of herself in dance to help out her family and herself as much as possible. On the fast track to the top of her career, she needs to impress scouts in the last show of her membership in the dance company. When she gets stuck to Xavier, the most unbearable partner ever, and has to dance with him in one of the lowest categories in dance, her career basically gets taken away from her. How can she deal with life at home and trying to save her already doomed career?
