Basically, the Care Bears ARE their belly badges. They're still bears tho. This takes place in the AICAL iteration (with a few mentions of UTM). There are no major story changes, aside from my own headcanons. Grizzle will be featured, but he's still the same because he has no belly badge. He's not a Care Bear. This will also feature my own personal ships, so yeah!

The Who Cares Bears (from the old comics) and Care Bears swap places. This also takes place in the UTM universe, not the 80's or 90's version of Care Bears. The villains aren't villains anymore, they're personalities are also swapped. So, instead of Bad Crowd, it's Good Crowd (idk I just made that name up on the spot). Only Tenderheart Bear, Bedtime Bear, and Wish Bear's names change. The Cloudseeker Crew's names stay the same, except they have an enemy team (name in the works). Also!! Some swearing involved, no smut because this is still a kids show!! This may also contain some references to AICAL.

Story 1- Seeing Stars: Share bear is gifted the responsibility of preparing the whiffle's magical christmas star. Story 2- One Coal, Twice the Effect: One of the bears appears to have been given a lump of coal in his stocking, it doesnt get any better when a certain badcrowder makes another appearance. Care Bears: The Rainbow Stone, reimagined for an older audience. Care Bears does not belong to me! The events in this fic are NOT meant to be a transcript of the show, but an alternative take on the story & themes presented. Sidenote: I have headcanons for the bears' appearances (accessories and physical features) which make several mentions.

Grumpy has always been an anti social bear and attempted to avoided anyone if given the chance, all especially Funshine; he allowed him to stay inside his work place, and tell him stories, ect. Funshine discovered that he had a crush on the blue bear, but he has a challenge telling Grumpy that.(this book takes place in the newest series, Care Bear unlock the magic)
