Rikki is the average American teenager, except for one teeny, tiny, little thing. She's called to go to the most prestigious academy in the world. After Rikki's mother tells her about Altadesnia, she's desperate not to go. First, why would she want to leave all her friends and go to a boarding school? Second, why was she receiving a SCHOLARSHIP to a boarding school?! Although Rikki puts up a fight, while she's sleeping, she's kidnapped! Stuck in the trunk of a fancy car in a very uncomfortable position, and driving to Who-Knows-Where, Rikki is in for the RIDE of her life. (See what I did there?
