Carl has been just an innocent shy individual that was forced to grow up. Trying to pursue a childhood during a Zombie Apocalypse that randomly broke out and turned the world even shittier than it already was, wasn't a good idea to begin with. Carl soon realized that after he was taught an educated lesson by his father. What he wasn't taught and what he hasn't figured out quickly enough, however, was how to become a real man... One who isn't cold, or serious all of the time. One who doesn't hesitate to shoot someone dead or alive for a reason that is good enough for him, but not good enough for other people in his life. Carl Grimes, once a boy, becomes something unpleasantly unreal. Until, someone completely foreign saves his life and attempts to give him a wake up call.

What do you do when you are trapped in a world where the dead are living and you can't. Humanity is stripped away. Being 14 in an apocalypse isn't all that fun. After being forced out of his home at the prison, Carl Grimes is forced to survive with his Dad, convinced he's damned to a life of sadness and loss. However, will a group the pair find show Carl that there is still good? Can anyone teach Carl there's more to living then surviving?
