Two part story about the 5th of July in 2015. One Chapter from Carli's POV and one from Abby's POV. It's part of my school assignment for English, but I thought it was nice to publish it here.

Carli Lloyd, the legend, the woman who made the infamous half field shot in the 2015 world cup. Captain of the USWNT, the intimidating one. Well, that's my mom. My name is Y/N Lloyd, I'm 17 years old, I play for my mother's Alma Mater, Delran High, Lady Bear soccer, and we suck. My mom actually had me at this age, but I live with my grandparents. Everyone thinks that they adopted me, and my best friend doesn't know the truth either. She just thinks that my mom is my favorite soccer player ever, since I have pictures and jerseys of my mom. It's weird having to say 'Carli' when I talk about my mom, I even did call her mom once, but it was back when calling your idols mom was normal, so nobody thought anything of it. And before you ask, no, Brian Hollins isn't my dad. Thankfully. Though mom was dating him when she had me, I was created when they were on a break.

So if you haven't read Twist, Turns, & Broken Promises then you won't have a clue about what's going on in this book. So just for a heads up there is going to be more than just Hope's and Rylee's POV in this story. Also some not so PG-13 stuff in here so just keep that in mind while your reading.

Hope solo has recently been divorced by her ex-husband Jeremy Stevens her teammates have been very supportive throughout this entire process but she soon learns that she has feelings for a certain midfielder named Carli Lloyd so when she finds out Carli likes her back she is overjoyed but when tragedy strikes and a very bad car wreck that happened in front of the team mansion and leaves a little girl homeless and an orphan what will the team do Will they step in and save her or let her go

Y/N Y/L/N has always struggled at school, getting bored, getting bullied, being sick, family getting sick; her relationship with the school system in her town wasn't exactly the best. She'd miss a lot of school, and fail plenty of classes, she'd gone through depression, she's been diagnosed with Anxiety, and she's a loner, so school wasn't the best fit for her. But staying at home and doing school on line wasn't the best fit for her either. She didn't fit into any mold the world tried to stuff her into. In her mind, she thinks it's because there's too much fat to fit into the mold, but that just her self-hatred talking.
