Moving to a small town in Washington was no different than the one that she lived in. At least that's what she had thought. After her father had left them 15 years ago, Brianna and her mother Scarlet had moved to Washington for her mom's new job and for a fresh start. Brianna had nothing to do with her old town. So moving to a different town didn't bother her. She was more interested with the mystery of the world, it's history and what it was hiding, than humans. And as soon as she moved to Forks, Washington, her whole world changed. Not only was she making friends and falling in love with a specific blonde hair boy with warm golden eyes, she was finding out what not only he and his family were hiding, but also what her mother had been hiding from her.

It turned out that Bella and Finn's real mother had cheated on Charlie, and after 16 years, the mother still held a grudge against Finn for being alive, and Charlie couldn't shake the negative emotions he felt every time he saw him. Bella was equally resentful. However, the only family member who protected him from both his mother and sister was Phil, his stepfather.
