yoooooo my first upload here! ok so this is my first cecilos fanfic so don't judge if cecil and carlos aren't exactly accurate. plus i definitely didn't pay attention to the canon story line for these two so oops sorry not sorry. also desert god!cecil au here. basically wherever he goes desert flora grows all around him. he can also grow flowers from his body.

Carlos believes that emotions and science can coexist. Cecil believes science is a death sentence written in red. Innocence is an illusion, the macabre a reality, and hope a fragile light flickering in the dark void.

this story is about a girl who lives in a town, just miles away from a desert, her psychologist told her to write about her life so that's what she does. this is somewhat of an interpretation of the "Welcome to Night Vale" but seen from the outside. where a teen lives close to Night Vale and writes of the strange happenings that occur in her town because of Night Vale. she doesn't believe there is anything in the desert though. or...does she?

Timothy Drancion Palmer is the child of Cecil Palmer and Carlos TheScientist. He lived his entire life in Night Vale. When the vague yet menacing government and the sheriff's secret police both asked him to watch over the superheroes. He agreed, why would he not. Now watch as all heroes are baffled by a simple kid. ((Tim Drake is the inspiration of Timothy Palmer. Basically same person))

"He waited patiently for snapchat to load, then opened Carlos’s. It was a picture of a confused looking man with his head tilted sideways as he stared intensely at the camera, “I met someone new today” the caption in the middle read. After thinking for a minute he replied casually “he’s cute, what’s his name?”. When he opened the next one, he was greeted by the man's face impossibly close to the camera and a caption that read “he’s not a kitten Cecil, and his name is Castiel”" Carlos is still stuck in the desert other world but at least he has company now, the most scientifically interesting company he could ever have hoped for.
