A song fanfic that goes along with the song Familiar Taste of Posion by Halestorm This takes place during Season 2 when Carmilla and Laura were broken up. Carmilla left and is staying with Mattie while Laura is alone in the Dean's old house. I wanted to keep this short and sweet so it may not be the greatest story

Laura Hollis' life is a mess. The only thing giving her stability is her job as a journalist and her family. Carmilla Karnstein has her whole life sorted. She's a successful publicist and has a family she loves. They definitely don't need anything or anyone else... or that's what they thought until the moment they met.

Laura Hollis is a college student who absolutely hates vampires. Carmilla Karnstein is a vampire... who Laura may or may not have been infatuated with. She came to Silas University seeking revenge from a Banshee who used its screaming voices to drive her father insane and once he was dead, it fed on his brain. Is Laura going to help Carmilla save Silas and avenge her father? Or is she going to run away?

You’re at a frat party at Silas when Carmilla starts to flirt with you. You’re aggravated because your friends ditched you and sexist pigs keep hitting on you. Carmilla saves the day and both of you get in a sarcastic battle ending with her wanting more.

A year after the events of The Carmilla Movie, Carmilla Karnstein is adjusting to her restored vampirism. Meanwhile, her girlfriend, Laura, is looking for her big break when the two girls (and their friends) are called back to Silas to deal with the ever-increasing threat of Lophiiformes' children. But all is not as it seems...

Carmilla witnesses Laura's (a total stranger to her) death and is really shook up about it. The next day she realizes she's living the same day over again, thus throwing Carmilla into a loop until she can save Laura's life. Hollstein - 2.5k words. Picks up from S2:EP15 because we all know that there is just so much angst and emotion to be anticipated. I couldn't deal, so I of course had to write a fic about it. This strays from canon because when written, we've yet to know what's going to happen, this is just my take one one possibility. (Written whilst listening to HBHBHB.)

Most college students went to the library to study, maybe meet up with friends, and check out a few books. The RONDimwit Squad wasn't like most college students.
