Once two separate schools known as Naranja and Uva, Tiempa Academy became world-renowned for its unique educational approach, blending tradition with innovation. Among its newest students this year were twins Florian and Juliana, recent arrivals to the Paldea region. They expected a normal school year, but during their first week, they came across two mysterious Pokémon-one that seemed to come from the ancient past, and another from a distant future. It started off simple, caring for the two beasts when Tiempa hosted its special independent study project-the Treasure Hunt. Embarking on the Treasure Hunt-"to seek out your very own treasure," as the school puts it- the journey took them across Paldea: challenging the Victory Road, traversing the Path of Legends, paving the way for Starfall Street, uncovering the Hidden Treasure within the crater at the region's heart, and chasing down the Viridian Comet. Along the way, they learned more about Paldea, the people and Pokémon who call it home, and came to realize what their greatest treasure was.

During these mostly peaceful times, war is the last thing on Viceroy Carmine’s mind. She keeps communication with most of the other Viceroys, and tries not to interfere with them unless the consequences are dire. But with a betrayal that stops her from trusting anyone but herself, things start to fall apart all around her. Can someone even as strong as Carmine survive alone forever?

It took us fifteen years to finally put an end to the Locust war and longer to get over the losses we had. Not many people know what all happen during the war, most of those that do are either dead or wish they were dead. The things we saw can never leave our minds or our hearts and the things I saw during the war..... they destroyed a part of me.
