After a family tragedy occurs Carmy has to make the tough decision to move back to Chicago to run his brothers restaurant. He hasn't been home in five years, so much has changed. He's not sure he's ready for his old life to meet the new him, he's certainly not ready to face the demons that come with returning home. Eleanora Keller wasn't sure what it would mean leaving New York to follow Carmy in hopes of salvaging what's left of The Beef. It's utter chaos but she can't help but think this is where they belong.

Y/N is Carmy's worst nightmare of a neighbor and she's not even sorry. He's running on 2 hours of sleep and she's like 'are you gonna cry?' (toxic tbh but we love a mean girl era). They're both ex-fine dining, both fucked up, and they share ONE (1) cigarette and suddenly everything gets complicated. It's gonna be a mess before it gets cute.

After the season 2 finale of The Bear, I could not stop thinking about Syd and Carmy's relationship. This is my take on what happened in the hours and days that followed the opening night. Enjoy :)
