Carnations Stories

So this is for all my fellow writers who need to know what certain flowers and their colors mean. If you have any requests for certain flowers please comment them as my DM's are currently not working. All photo's included do not belong to me unless specified, at the end of each chapter there will be a set of references that I used if you would like more information.

This poem recently won the Bundey Prize for English Verse at the University of Adelaide. I'm stoked to be able to share it here!

When a mission for a mythical mirror goes horribly wrong, Twisted Fate and Graves are thrown into another universe where they would meet two men, Clint and Roger. With the mirror shattered and no way home, the four must work together to find its lost fragments scattered across the Land of Dawn. Strangers from different universes, one broken portal, and a journey none of them asked for. (Hi guysysy this is my first time posting a fic and I'm a little nervous since I'm not that good on writing yet.. since I've got too many fics that are rotting in my notes and few of my friends were askin' me why I wouldn't post em so..I decided to post one of the fics I'm making (for now). I hope ye folks like it, especially Lol/Wildrift and MLBB fans!)

Everyone loves flowers. Bright-red blooming ones, soft-yellow flowering ones. They're all so pretty to see, but when you find the right one- the one- that has the most lovely scent and prettiest of petals, you'll obviously keep it for as long as you can, caring for it and cherishing it. Though, sometimes, you can't find the time to water your flower, and speak sweet words with it. Sometimes, you have to leave it alone, to wilt and wither. And sometimes, you have to uproot it. Because, that flower was never meant to be.

"Promises, forgotten memories, a lost love and a familiar scent." One day, Vera woke up from a dream that almost felt like a reality but she can only recall a promise. A promise that seemed to take place on her hometown in Lodores, which confusingly, she had no memories at all. She decided to go in a journey of looking for answers to her questions with hopes of regaining her memory. She went back to her hometown, Lodores. What she will discover will either make her or break her. Will she be too late to fulfill a promise from 15 years ago?

Ella started experiencing pain at a little age, she thought it would stop with her father by her side but he betrayed her trust. She was handed over to the man that broke her, and her father made her promise that when she's eighteen she will have to get married to him. But Ella escapes on her wedding day and runs in to a stranger Daring to ask for help.

The letter was written with blue ink and definitely with a quill seeing the ink drops at places. She was unbeknownst to who the writer was but they surely knew their words well Gazing at the carnations which were sent she couldn't understand who was this person who praised her like she was a moon and they a poet While she was unknown he wanted to be known but he knew he couldn't for he knew that he wasn't worth it and she didn't deserve to go through it and hence he could do nothing but sign it off as Anonymous
