"Hey, kid wait!" I called out, forgetting her name for a split second. Then I heard a moan. Walkers huh? Taking my gun and my knife, I shot the thing in the head. Well I tried anyway, I missed, hitting it in the arm. I turned to run only to be yanked back by a decomposing hand. "Jade!" I saw Sophie running back, this time with a knife. I felt searing pain in my hand. Then I felt weight on the back of me. Did I just get bit...? Then I felt the darkness coming over me. As if lighting struck me..... I was out like a light.

Rick pulled the trigger, Shane hadn't a second to react, he dropped to his knees quickly. Fortunately, the bullet hit his shin. Shane gripped his leg tightly and cried out.
