Okay, okay. This is a little house on the prairie fanfic. And while it doesn't follow the story line at all, and I added in supernatural elements to it. This is either going to be good or a monstrosity... Charles Ingalls is both man and beast (kinda like a werewolf but not close), he marries Caroline, only Mary and Laura are present in this. Baby Carry is gonna get made. lol. But I hope you enjoy reading this!

Charles Ingalls wants to marry his childhood sweetheart, Caroline Quiner but her disapproving step-father, Frederick doesn't think Charles is good enough for his little girl. Caroline has been feeling poorly and while on a picnic with her family and friends, she slowly begins to deteriorate. Caroline is rushed into town and is taken to Dr. Baker where it is revealed that Baby Ingalls is due in early October. Charles and Caroline are also told that Caroline's pregnancy is high-risk. Halfway through the pregnancy, while Charles is away, Caroline begins to experience complications. One before she is due, Caroline goes into premature labor, and has to undergo an emergency c-section. What will happen to Caroline and the baby? Will they survive?

A young Charles and Caroline Ingalls are overjoyed to be expecting their first child, but problems arise as they prepare for the baby's arrival. Meanwhile, Caroline is offered a teaching job in her hometown of Brookfield and it's then that she meets a student that changes her life forever. This is my prequel story on how the birth of the first Ingalls daughter, Mary could have been like for Charles and Caroline.
