Before I go is about this girl named Carolyn Scott who moves to a new state leaving her home in California behind. She ends up moving across the country to Florida. To live with her aunt because her parents had gotten in a car wreck and died. Carolyn was very devastated. But things change when she moves to her new school called Livingston High. Where she mets a lovely and charming young man who turns her world around for the better. This boy is named Shawn Mendes. They might not start off great at first but once they learn to loosen up around each other and to trust each other they realize they are a perfect team. They eventually fall in love. But nobody ever gets a happy ending in real life. Things start going down hill when Carolyn's past and Shawn's secrets unravel. But true love always finds its way back to who is meant to obtain it.
