A girl newsie by the name of Kai was getting ready one day, when she ran into a group of Newsies. The leaders name was Jack Kelly with his "walkin mouth" Davey. The other rag tag team are Race, Skittery, Crutchie, Boots, and Bumlets. She ends up joining the strike, and is a huge part in it.

Shiner is just like any other Newsie. He gets up, carries the banner, watches out for his fellow Newsie brothers, and gets in trouble with the Delancey Brothers. Until the day that all changes. You see, Shiner isn't like any other Newsie. He's got secrets and one of them is that he's a girl. Elizabeth McConlly is Shiner's real name and she's got secrets of her own. *************************************** I DO NOT OWN THE NEWSIE CHARACTERS NOR THE MUSIC. I ONLY OWN ELIZABETH MCCONLLY. This book will be based off of a combination of the Fulton Theatre Newsie actors/story and the movie. That is why the character descriptions will not match the ones from the original Broadway cast. This is my first story of this kind on Wattpad, so I will try my hardest to make it enjoyable to read. I will try to update every other week up until completion.
