Baz hates school, there's an annoying kid in his class who is constantly picking fights with him. he only gets through it because if his online friend, "the_mage_2000" Simon has a good life, he's got a girlfriend, a best friend. Baz is on holiday during his final year at Watford, and Simon comes to visit. While no mages except the two stay at the academy during break, there are other creatures, lurking in the shadows.

Baz needs to get his father off his case about settling down with a girlfriend. Simon needs a job that can keep him off the streets. Baz goes looking online for a fake boyfriend and finds the website snow-onebutyou.com and does something he's certain he will regret.

Penelope has to return some books to the local library. Simon tags along with her and he meets Basil, who is a "jerk" (Simon's words) librarian. Of course Simon complains non-sotp and Penelope, Shepard and Agatha make a plan to get Simon and Baz together.... These are Rainbow Rowell's characters!!

An elven Oracle arrives at Watford to gain a better understanding of the modern mages traveling the world, Simon Snow is given the task to guide her through the new era, but with someone who can see the future, there's not much you need to protect them from. An Oracle sees Simon and bazs future and realises these useless gays can't function together.

This is the scene in the forest where Simon sees Baz and Agatha, just before the Humdrum takes Simon and Penelope. I wrote this last year for my english class. We were assigned to read a book of our choosing (and of course I picked Carry On), then write a prequel/epilogue in the author's style. All of the characters in this story belong to Rainbow Rowell.

It's a little over a year since Baz and Simon started dating and are about to move in together. Agatha visits with no knowledge of the boys relationship and fails to get the hints of obvious flirting and being in love. Chaos just fucking chaos.
