A Cresswell (from the Lunar Chronicles) fic. College AU. Cress is a computer science major trying to get by. This is her one chance to be free, away from home, away from everything that tortured her past, and be her own person. Thorne, commonly known as Captain, is the usual supsect. Football quarter back and campus heartthrob, Cress day-dreams about the two of them falling in love. When an accident on the field puts Thorne out of football, the two tumble into a relationship of unexpected twists and turns. One thing is for sure, neither of them will ever look back. When Cress sneaks out to the little Cafe each night to sing, she isn't thinking about love; She's thinking about making enough money to eat, because the stars know Sybil won't provide. But lo and behold when the idiotic American playboy Carswell Thorne stumbles upon the Cafe with a date, that's exactly what she falls into. Unfortunately, he may not feel the same, and time is slowly running out.

The Lunar Chronicles but at Hogwarts! Everyone thinks that everything is fine, until they arrive at Hogwarts. With Levana as a headmistress and teachers like Sybil and Aimery, who needs enemies? But, of course, don't forget about some of the nicer professors like Professor Erland, the divination teacher and reluctant groundskeeper who is under the Headmistress' thumb wether he likes it or not and Professor Benoit is the Herbology teacher, which her granddaughter excels at. In a school with a twisted mistress, teachers that hate the students, and other dangers, what could happen? (This includes TL;DR passages which are a shortened version of chapters generated with Chat GPT for readers who would not like to read the whole fanfiction.)

Meanwhile, Cinder Linh is in denial with the fact her soulmate is Kaito the son of the mayor. Meanwhile, Levana's plan to become mayor of the settlement might actually become a reality.

(tlcsw pt.2) Thorne is being his flirtatious self as part of their plan but it doesn't quite work out and Cress decides to put an end to it, written for prompt 'cresswell enough' in tlc ship weeks 2019!
