Jaron and Imogen's wedding is as hectic as all their days have been since the war, their only hope is that they can be wedded without the entire continent knowing of the rampaging assassin that threatens Carthya's peace.

For those who have read the Ascendance Series by Jennifer Nielsen, this is a fan-fic piece that takes place when Prince Jaron (later known as the orphan Sage) is sent away to Bymar. Most people believe that Jaron was killed by pirates along with the rest of the crew, but he escaped through a porthole and lived in Carthya in disguise until he was found by Conner. This is that untold story.
