We pick up the story line begun in my Books 1 and 2. With a couple of close scrapes thrown in - including a runaway buckboard, and a driverless, out of control stagecoach - and an ultimatum given to a pair of 'unyielding people' - we find Adam can just about handle anything, as he plans, and builds, for his future, and the future of his family. These stories make the most sense when read in their correct order : Book 1, Book 2, etc.

In this 'retro' story, a 13 year old Adam Cartwright helps his nearly 7 year old brother, Hoss, deal with the school bully, Jeremy Fitch. A bully that loves picking on the kids that are 'different'. With help from his Pa, too, Hoss proves to his family, and friends, just what he's 'made of', and truly proves 'the mark of a boy '. This is a 'retro - stand alone' story, and can be read at any time, and be easily followed and understood, whether you've read my other stories, or not.

“Dominic stop!” This time I ran so that I was in front of him putting my hands on his chest to keep him from moving; I could feel his chest heaving up and down. “You can’t just say those things, it confuses me! You confuse me…What-“ My voice started breaking. So much for keeping strong. “What Tamryn? What?” He sounded irritated, his words cut me like a razor. It left me stunned, it was like he wanted nothing to do with me. He pushed pass me and kept walking. As I saw his figure disappearing in the tunnel I shrieked “WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!” He stopped dead in his tracks; my voice was so high pitch it probably scared him. I whispered it this time. “What do you want from me?” Tamryn's never known what she's wanted in life, but whatever it is she wants she thinks she can find it in New York. Her automatic response is that she moved there to reconnect with her best friend Natalie, but is that really why? As expected she begins to find herself but more importantly, she finds the most annoying person known to man three doors down. But there's more to this boy next door, he's more like 'the MVP of the NBA' next door.

What do you do when everyone around you are hell bent on making sure your arranged marriage happen before your 25th birthday? You run away... Meet Riley Evans, the perfect All-American girl-next-door with a prominent family name that rivaled the Kennedys and the Rothschilds. Before her eighth birthday, Riley had been betrothed to Phillip Cartwright the third; the son of her grandmother's dearest friend - of the Cartwright International and many more subsidiary companies - the only family her darling-yet-uptight grandmother deemed worthy - and of course, wealthy enough - to marry her first granddaughter. The problem was, they never met. And Riley wasn't going to be shipped off to London to live in a country so far away from her friends, family and most importantly, her book club. Now meet Phillip Cartwright the third, firstborn of the ever-so recognizable Cartwright offspring with their trademark jet black hair and ice-blue eyes. Not only was Phillip both Harvard and Oxford-educated, he was also handsome, family-oriented, supremely generous and oh-so charming. But this loving grandson wouldn't let his scheming grandmother marry him off to some rich American heiress, no matter how prominent her family name was or how much her family connection could further his business. When they both embarked on a journey to escape from their own respective fate, a little island in the Pacific Ocean might bring them closer than ever...

Madeline Cartwright, Virginia City's school teacher, has a brilliant plan for a school program that her students will perform at the end of the term. But a wrench is thrown into her plans when none of her three stepbrothers or ranch hand Candy Canaday can build the wooden stage she needs so that the program will run smoothly. So even though it's the last thing she wants to do, she accepts Kevin Butler's offer to build it for her. Kevin Butler never expected Ben Cartwright's oldest stepdaughter to accept his offer, especially since they aren't exactly friends and almost always rub each other the wrong way, ending up in a hot, fiery argument. In fact, they've nearly become enemies thanks to their knack for doing that but as time goes on, he begins to see her true colors and he discovers that she's not as mean and hot tempered as she seems. Even though neither of them realizes it, the wooden stage and Kevin's seven-year-old son, Oakley are bringing them together and by the time they finally figure out what they mean to each other, it's nearly too late. Find out if Madeline from Rose, My Love will find finally find love and if Kevin can let himself love again after losing his wife.
