Evie and Carlos have been close ever since the day they met. How close? If you ask Mal, she would say, "I have never seen a bond between villain kid and villain kid stronger than what Evie and Carlos share." She, however, knows better. Their intimacy is more than just friendship, she can see it. Mal makes it her personal goal to help Evie and Carlos see the truth behind their bond. The problem is that they're both each in a romantic relationship. Evie has Doug. Carlos has Jane.

When Doug breaks Evie's heart, and her fellow VK's are to busy to notice, And she becomes swamped with orders. Evie decides she needs a break from the aurdonian life and leaves for the isle. One night Mal did not see Evie in their dorm and finds the note Evie had left. Worried for their best friend Mal Jay and Carlos go to find her. But the isle has changed with Uma their arch enemy now being the new queen of the isle. Can they find Evie and return home, or will Evie want to stay at the isle forever?

This is a prequel story to my story The Real Mal. It's about Evie finding out about her being pregnant and how she dealt with the pregnancy and having a baby on the Isle and all the things she had to go through. It will show what happened up until the events in my other story.

Jay and Evie are only 13 years old, when Beast, Ben's father, plucks them from the Isle of the Lost to bring to Auradon. Beast didn't just take them from the Isle, he took Jay away from Mal, and Evie away from Carlos. Mal and Carlos were both heartbroken to see Jay and Evie leave for Auradon. Before getting into the limo to go to Auradon, Jay and Evie make the same promise to Carlos and Mal. They promise, to wait for them in Auradon, and to convince the King and Queen to bring the two of them over to Auradon. And just like that, they are separated. Jay and Evie are being sent to Auradon, to be adopted into Beast's family, and to be Ben's little siblings. 3 years later, Jay has kept his promise to Mal, but Evie hasn't. She's gotten distracted by several other boys that want her to be their queen. Jay gets his opportunity to bring Carlos and Mal over, and he succeeds. Several days after the plan is made, Mal and Carlos arrive from the Isle, and a whole bunch of Royal drama, kicks in.
