So. this is my first short story. I'm not sure if it's very good but. Whatever. It's about a girl who is coming home from school and there's this car wreck and she gets taken out by this force and asked to make a decision.

So, I had a fiance that passed away December 11th in a car accident as he was coming to visit me. I was on the phone with him at the time and since I have PTSD, this was not only a heartbreaking experience but, this was also a traumatic experience. I have been writing these poems to help cope with his death. This will be updated as soon as I write a new poem. I dedicate this to William Eakins of Nevada, TX. My late fiance.

And if they become horribly bad, much like Cherry was, then they get to play a piece in The Fates game. Well it isn't a game. It's more of life. The Inconvenients are taken to Sideways (which is where The Fates are), where basically The Fates tell them how much of a screw up they are. But then they tell them that they have to help the Fates, unless they want to go to Below. They then become someone in another's life that plays a brutal role that changes the way their life was going. But what happens when Cherry, an Inconvenient, meets another Inconvenient who shares the same view as Cherry? The view that everyone should have their own free will and not be controlled by The Fates.

It was a rush of hatred mixed with sarcasm that killed her. One bullet to her chest and then another and another, until she slouched her way down to the floor, covering the white walkways with red. Her now leaving me in a cold trance at the tiny framed friend of mine on the floor, well that is until I looked up to the barrel of the gun pointing at me now. My heart clenching together underneath my skin, pulse raising as I attempt to make sense out of all this, and the brief illusion of a shadow on the wall behind her, all tease me when I’m trying to think if this is all true. That’s when it happens; his dark hair flowing in his eyes from his lack of going to the hair cutter and his violet eyes deepening the stare between the two of us. Don’t shoot! I’ll do anything! Just don’t kill him. My thoughts scream at me, making my line of concentration grow slimmer with each word. Tears begun to fill the bottom of my eyes, my throat closing to the full extent, my ever so calm hands were trembling at my hips and the requirement of breath vanish from my lungs. His hands run out to calm this girl, speaking softly and letting her know that it will be alright if she simply lets us go. And just as she starts to give in to his pervasive act, the fire alarm sets off, sending her in a protective fury of gunshots. Hitting him dead on. Felt like a bullet to my heart.
