At the law school graduation ceremony, the young and devastatingly elegant Dean Park Jimin stood under the lights like the universe's prettiest trap.
With a smile soft enough to fool an entire courtroom, he teased:
"Let's review what you've learned these four years.
If I were your student now... what would you teach me?"
The students blushed, panicked, and started writing heartfelt essays about ethics, justice, and other noble nonsense.
Meanwhile, Jeon Jungkook-eternally stoic, allergic to theatrics, and hopelessly immune to Jimin's charm-calmly wrote seven words:
"I don't take in scammers. Recommend immediate expulsion."
Jimin found that answer instantly.
Of course he did.
He always finds Jungkook, even when he isn't looking.
With dramatic flourish (and secretly fond exasperation), he scribbled back:
"Please... did you take this seriously?"
He should've known better than to challenge fate.
Because years later, after one explosion neither of them asked for, Jimin ends up in the exact ridiculous scenario he once joked about-
and Jungkook becomes the one person he can't outrun.
Now they're stuck in each other's orbit, colliding like two idiots who pretend to hate gravity.
Jimin: "...Why is this happening again?"
Jungkook: "Maybe the world ships us."
Jimin: "The world needs to mind its business."
Jungkook: "Too late."
