Nia Lovelis of Hey Violet and Calum Hood of 5 Seconds of Summer were assigned to do a PR stunt which involved them to act as if they were dating for Nia and her bandmates to gain more attention. This PR stunt turned out well for the both of them as they started to become close friends. Even after all the things they had to do together, it didn't change the fact that they only loved each other as good friends. But, a counsequence of one outing they had would change their lives forever, forcing them to stay together even longer than they were required to and to feel more emotions than they were supposed to.
