Petunia's only a servant girl, only a poor servant girl serving in the Telmarine castle. Her parents have been dead since she was born- or, that's what she's been told. Then, one day when she is clearing out King Miraz's room, she finds a paper that states something shocking. King Miraz has a secret daughter, but then, where is she? After a bit more sniping, Petunia is in awe to learn it is her! And she also finds a necklace from her mother, Prunprismia, a gift for the daughter she was never allowed to love since Miraz imedietely didn't want her. Close friend, Glozelle, the one she grew up with, knew all along that she was Miraz's daughter and their friendship begins to break. Until he kisses her under her favorite, secret Apple tree. Then their friendship is gone, but in a different way. Petunia attempts to confront her father and gain his love. Unfortunately, this doesn't go smoothly and Miraz basically tells her she is worthless. Suddenly one day, she gets too upset and runs away to help her cousin Caspian X. Glozelle watches her run away and follows, hurt she would even consider assisting Caspian. When Glozelle kidnaps Petunia and asks what she's doing, the whole thing goes downhill and she leaves Glozelle in anger. She's torn between her true love and her cousin. Can she choose?

The reason why she had been brought to Narnia was simple and she had it right in front of herself the whole time. But her eyes were blind to the obvious, until the very last night of her stay in this strange land.
