Rocky isn't even a football player, but he is still the best athlete to emerge from the shitty high school. A utility, but the best teen pitcher in the whole country, with a fastball averaging speeds of 95 mph. But, of course, the football team always overshadows the baseball team, and during the course of a failed field trip, he learns to good about the football team, and their star player.
