Varian, no longer a little boy and the known Royal Engineer of Corona, was tasked by Queen Rapunzel to find her lost friend, Cassandra. He didn't know why he agreed to do it but he just found himself traveling in the woods to find her. He did managed to see the dark-haired girl only to realize that she was outnumbered by a group of men. Questions by questions popped out in the alchemist's mind. Will he help her or just let himself be filled with the bitterness for the reason that she left a big hole in his heart? ✏ This is a Cassarian (Cassandra x Varian) fic. Don't worry, it would be a Aged-up AU. I'll put the details at the first chapter.

When the crew arrives back in Corona, Cassandra is shocked to find that Varian's been freed and granted a full pardon. She wants absolutely nothing to do with him, but he's trying his hardest to get back into everyone's good graces... Even if it means spending excess time with the girl he had a big crush on long ago... Except maybe, it wasn't so long ago. And maybe he never stopped liking her.

A short fanfiction about Cassandra and Varian (with drawings), it takes place around 4 years after the third season of tts. Normally I am more of an artist, which is why I put drawings inbetween, I made them after writing. Varian finds himself deeply in love with Cassandra, and Cass finds herself feeling the same towards him. Varian just wants to be able to love her but fears that Cass still sees him as a child.
