When he turned 18, he was supposed to meet his fiancé from some kingdom he had never heard of. What happens when midnight meets the stars? Beauty.

Varian replaces his dad as steward, Cass is trying to escape an arrange marriage, Rapunzel wants more than just 4 walls, Eugene wants to escape poverty and start a new life. What do they have in common? They're in the RMS Titanic.

Description: an AU with the Tangled characters as Beauty and the Beast. Basically, Varian is a brilliant young alchemist, completely misunderstood by his village. Cassandra's a witch, cursed to live in a monstrous form after angering the wrong enchantress. What happens when their paths cross...? Side note: I've changed the ages for the story so there aren't huge age gaps. Varian is 16, like in the last season, Cass is 17, and Andrew is 18, just for reference. "Just who does that alchemist think he's messing with? No one says no to Andrew!"

This takes place years after season three of Tangled the Series. Cassandra and Varian are married and have a child, Opal. Opal's character belongs 100% to @ElizabethShelby and all other characters belong to Disney, except for Eleni, who is an OC. In this AU, Opal is 7 when Rapunzel's first child is born. On the night of Rapunzel's first child's birth, some strange magic is triggered. The Great Tree has regrown, and Rapunzel becomes very ill. With not many other options, Eugene, Lance, Varian and Cassandra, and their daughter, Opal, venture to the Great Tree to try to find a cure... before time runs out. Will Varian and Cassandra be able to rise above the hate that the citizens of Corona still give them? Will Eugene be able to keep it together long enough to save Rapunzel? And, most importantly, will Opal ever find out what her parents did years ago? I'm gonna try to keep this short, most likely under ten chapters, but, hey, it might get longer than I plan. Sequel to Everything to Lose, this continues the story of Varian and Cassandra, as they go With Eugene and Rapunzel to a Kingdom for a Royal assembly and Ball. When it becomes evident that someone at the assembly wants the royal couple dead, it is up to Cass and Varian to uncover the culprits and save their friends. I do not own these characters, this is total fanfiction.
