Porcelain Jones is just another emo, as others may say. She's a heroin addict, bulimic and cutter. She moves from ontario to Vancover six months after her mother dying. Her dad's job had them moving quite a bit her dad was and alcoholic that enjoyed beating his only daughter and bringing her closer to the edge. In her mind porcelain thought her dad couldnt care less, She runs expecting things to get better, it's only at first they dont. Once she runs into the lead singer of a local band she stays with him until she's back on her feet.

Nicolette just wants to be accepted but everything and everyone is against her. That is until she meets one of her saviors, Matt Webb.

A concert with her best friends turns into the experience of a lifetime. Skylar Bentley was just expecting a concert like any other, but when her favourite band, Marianas Trench, reveals their surprise at their opening show in Vancouver, everything changes. The Suprise, is an up close and personal VIP pass to tour with the boys for the remainder of the summer. What happens during this 'trip' were things that no one could have seen coming. She fights to be the alluring new girl rather than the little sister, but thats hard to acomplish at 17 around 30 year olds. Will Skylar find herself in the messy lives of her idols, or even fall harder into her issues than before?

A lot of people ask what it's like to meet your heroes, so I decided that when I met mine I'd write it all down. I got the opportunity to meet mine when i bought Platinum VIP for Marianas Trench. So this is October 13, 2012 the second stop of Marianas Trench's #Face The Music Tour from start to finish from my point of view. Everything was written as soon as I got home from the show and 100% truth. Enjoy and take from this what you will.

“Please don’t leave,” Josh pleaded for the millionth time that day at the airport. “Please, Kat.” Tears were in his eyes and he didn’t bother fighting them back. He knew that he was going to cry, whether it was before or after Katherine left. Might as well let it all out now. Katherine frowned. “Josh,” she sighed. “I need to go. I accepted their offer. I’m not going to turn it away now. If you didn’t want me to go you should’ve just said so instead of acting happy.” Katherine averted Josh’s gaze and stared down at the marble floors. She didn’t want to cry. “I-If you didn’t want me to leave you then I would’ve stayed.” Josh choked on tears and wrapped his arms around Katherine suddenly. He didn’t want his best friend to leave him. Yes, he had Matt but Katherine had been with him as well. They were all best friends. The three muskateers. They couldn’t be complete with one third of them missing. Josh loved Katherine. He couldn’t just let her slip through his fingers like sand. He needed her to stay. He needed her to keep him sane or lift him up when he was in the darkest of places. She was part of the reason why Josh was clean. He needed her. “Y-you’re my best friend,” he cried into her shoulder. Katherine wrapped her arms around him and shed a few tears of her own. “And I want you to be happy. But I want you to be happy with me…” He mumbled the last part, hoping that Katherine didn’t hear anything but the first part. “If you want me to be happy,” Katherine whispered into Josh’s ear. “Then you’ll let me go. We’ll still be best friends. Forever. We’ll always talk on the phone and write. I’ll come visit one day.”

This is the prequel to More Than Just Butterflies and will eventually blend into MTJB with the focus of Matt Webb and Hayley Grey. It started with a wedding… I do not own Marianas Trench or any other songs, lyrics, movie quotes. The only thing that's mine is the plot.
