Sam was taken to A military camp • • • Ben Parish and his brother Percy were separated after Ben gets the red plague during the third wave. One morning when Percy is taking care of Ben at a rufuge He leaves to get fresh water. When he comes back Ben and all the other kids were gone. The adults dead. Ben was taken to Camp Haven, a military camp, to get better and to train. What happens when percy stumbles upon Cassie and Annabeth? They team up to get their siblings back because they need each other when the 5th wave comes. DISCLAIMER: I do not own anything the 5th wave or percy jackson. Also you don't NEED to read the 5th wave to understand the story but it would help if you have read it (I've read the books twice)

Cassie Sullivan is a 16 year-old that is left in a world of terror that never ends. Something happens that nor her or anybody will be able to forget. Their world is being taken over by a massive amount of aliens when everyone spots a hovering object above them. Small Children and adults are taken to an army camp where they will stay until everything clears up. Along the way Cassie misses the bus, leaving her brother alone. Small children are forced in going to an army base where they will be trained in finding the last few survivers out there. While trying to find her brother she meets someone who will protect her and help her. Someone she thinks she can trust. Before the waves, before all the pain and suffering, before the Others destroyed everything; Ben Parish had only one thing on his mind. Her name was Dakota Joseph and she was the most beautiful specimen Ben had ever laid eyes on. After the waves Dakota saw herself as another one of the Others overlooked scraps, the plate of leftovers that you pick at when there's nothing else to eat. Not even good enough for them to finish her off in the first four waves. Ben had a different theory, a more confident perspective. The others weren't eliminating the toughest ones first and then weeding out the stragglers. Instead they were getting rid of the weak ones so they could get to the real fighters, separating the wheat from the chaff. What the others didn't understand about wiping out an entire species is that after you take the first ones out, you're going to be left with some pretty pissed off remainders. And they're going to come at you with everything they've got because they have nothing else to lose. Whether they identify themselves as scraps or survivors they are coming and they will be the perfect human weapon in this formerly hopeless war. This story is being discontinued but you're more than welcome to read what's already there!

This is a continuation of The 5th Wave movie in mostly Cassie's perspective. Some ideas are taken from the books to make them more realistic, but this fan-fiction is written by myself only. (Do not steal my writing. Thank you.) Hope you enjoy it! <3

"I can't believe you're alive," I say before I can stop myself. "I know what you mean. I thought everyone I knew was dead," he agrees, giving my hand a quick squeeze and making my heart flutter. What is the matter with me!?! Here we are, in the middle of an alien invasion, away from everything we know, mankind's only hope for survival. And all I can think about is some stupid schoolgirl crush! I let go of his hand." What would happen if Cassie and Sam were never separated? What if they went to Camp Haven together and she ended up in the same squad with the one and only Ben Parish? With no else to turn to, Ben and Cassie become the friends that they never had before. As Cassie moves closer and closer to finding her brother, she meets up with someone she never knew she would meet again. Who will is it, and what will happen as the story continues??? I sat against the tree, the rough bark leaving slight feelings of pain on my back. I tried to not look at the body that lied dead in front of me. I took slow breaths trying to calm myself. I held onto my backpack as if it was my life. My head throbbed against the tree and the pain in my arm was stronger than ever. But none of that compared to the grief I felt inside. I needed to survive. Because if I didn't, then that means they died for nothing.
