Two weeks after Charity leaves, the bunker fills with Christmas lights and forced smiles. Reagan throws herself into decorating, Remus pretends not to care, and everyone avoids saying the name that's missing. Joy is present-but fragile.

When Castiel discovers that his human soulmate is pregnant with his child, he must protect her from the wrath of heaven all the while dealing with the fact that he has sired an abomination. As the due date nears, Cas realizes that to save his love from his angelic kin, as well as the hybrid growing inside her, he must take away the one thing his wife has always wanted. He must destroy the child.

Cas watches silently, while Meg holds their baby girl "Meg...Please..." Cas said voice breaking. "Take good care of our baby girl...." What starts as a heated exchange between rival student council candidates turns personal - and when Treasure cruelly mentions Charity's mother, something inside Charity fractures. The piece of her soul that was altered by the Empty stirs, flooding her with uncontrollable rage. Before she realizes it, Charity lashes out, the hallway filling with shouts and shock as the two girls fight. It takes Dean's desperate intervention to pull Charity off of Treasure, but even as he restrains her, the look in her eyes isn't entirely her own.
