Rick and Kate are married. They've been for a long time now. Rick is asked to go to London for a year for his books. Kate can't just leave her job. She is Captain, she needs to be there. Also they're trying to have kids. What will they do? And what when Rick comes back? Is he gonna be okay with the changes? Is this goodbye? Kate Beckett is an inspiring journalist straight out of High School heading off to college at Columbia University in New York City. What will she do when she meets her most favorite author at his book signing for his novels? The non-so-famous writer Richard Castle is a struggling writer trying to find his inspiration. What will happen when he meets this college student?

Her detective instincts kicks in and she can't help but question why Alexis was taken from her dad. That's when she can't shake the feeling that mr Castle is falsely accused for whatever it might be and decides to try and find out more. Not knowing it would lead back to her own past.
